An Unexpected Healing!

When I heard that Weston Carryer, a healing evangelist, was coming to our church, Good Life Community Church, Queensland, I wanted to be there to receive healing. I have been suffering from dermatitis for ten years in a mild manner, but severely the last three years. It is a skin condition that reddens and ruptures the central part of my face. Only recently married, I wanted my former clear skin back. So I decided to go the evening service by myself without my husband and our one-and-a-half-year-old son.

After the main part of the service, everyone could go up for prayer for healing. Weston Carryer prayed for me briefly, specifically praying against the curse that causes sickness. I went down in the Holy Spirit and felt this light flurry of activity around my back. When I got up, I decided to go to the ladies to see if my face had improved. I didn’t notice any change. So I decided to go home. As I was walking to the car and driving home I noticed that I was walking and sitting very erect, unlike ever before. I thought to myself, I just feel good because I’ve had an evening out by myself—something rare for me. But when I got up the next day, I knew I had been absolutely, totally healed of my long-term arthritic back—something I didn’t ask for because I hadn’t any idea how bad it was until I was healed.

For more than eight years I have been going monthly to chiropractors to have my back adjusted to avert pain. In one brief encounter with the Living God, my back was totally restored with new discs. I grew 3.5-cm as proof and it was easy to carry myself lightly and erectly. I kept my usual appointment with the chiropractor two weeks later to verify my healing. I didn’t say much at first, just that I felt good. He didn’t have much to do because my back would put itself right if I misaligned it. He said it is much better and since then instead of monthly, I go six weekly just for maintenance, and they have very little to adjust. Now, nine months later, I have absolutely no pain or restriction of any kind. My face has improved dramatically; however, some of the rash still lingers. I praise God for His mercy and love. ‍
