I suffered debilitating abdominal pain from endometriosis, a medical term for a condition where the lining of the womb sheds itself and attaches itself to other areas of the body. The pain that is felt with endometriosis is from the lining attaching itself to other internal organs and then bleeding as part of the menstrual cycle. I had numerous operations to laser off these lesions, which gave me temporary relief. The more operations I had, the more scar tissue was created, which in the end, just added to the abdominal pain.

Finally at thirty-three I made a decision to have a hysterectomy, as I had suffered this condition from my first period at age fourteen. The pain was so debilitating I could not walk at times. I had given birth to two beautiful boys and could not deal with the pain I was experiencing a day longer. The operation gave me temporary relief and stopped the situation from getting worse. However, the lining that had attached itself to other organs in my body was still there; over time the pain came back—not as bad, but it was still there. I suffered abdominal pain from endometriosis for twenty-three years. I also suffered from digestion problems.

I came to see Weston at the beginning of September 2008 at a church meeting in Paraparaumu. During the service, he walked over to the area where I was sitting. He then called out for someone with severe stomach pain and digestive problems to come up for prayer. My husband pushed me up saying, “That’s you!” I got up and went forward.

Weston prayed for me, asking me to place my hands on my stomach. He then put his hand on mine. I was in pain as he was praying. When he placed his hand on my mine I could feel incredible warmth coming through him from God. As soon as he touched me I knew God would be able to help me. The power of God is truly amazing. It came rushing through Weston and healed me from my pain. This left such an impact on me that I became born again that very day. Not only was I saved as a result of this experience, but my husband and two children were also.

My abdominal pain has never returned. Not only did I receive a physical healing, but I received an instant cleansing of my soul. I felt ignited for God and felt a deep yearning to live my life the best I could for Christ. I could not deny His power and glory. My mouth was cleansed from swearing, my mind was healed from depression, my relationship with my husband was restored, and I felt free for the first time in my life. I felt completely uplifted.

I thank God for my encounter with Weston. I thank God for the blessing of healing. Since that day my life has made a complete turnaround for the best and I have not looked back. Each day I grow stronger for God.

Trust in Him; have faith in His works. He truly is an amazing God. God has worked a miracle in my life. I am truly grateful for His abundant blessings everyday.
